Women in Entrepreneurship Online Programme : Date:
The DWIH (Deutsches Wissenschafts- und Innovationshaus) in San Francisco offers a hybrid innovation programme for female students or researchers from Germany. The “Woman in Entrepreneurship” programme is now open for applications, and the DWIH offers an information event on March 4.
The program is a combination of online and in-person learning experiences designed for women researchers to improve their business and presentation skills. The online learning course spans eight weeks in May and June 2025, and the in-person component will take place in early September. The programme is designed to be conducted online, employing asynchronous learning modules comprising video content and practical exercises.
The programme aims to bring female scientists together with female entrepreneurs and to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge. In the eight-week learning course, participants receive a crash course in all aspects of entrepreneurship and get the opportunity to refine their own start-up idea and submit it as a proposal. Based on the proposals, ten participants will be selected and receive an invitation to the sponsored one-week residential programme in San Francisco.
