DFG matchmaking event: Taiwan : Date:

The DFG has announced another online matchmaking event for researchers from Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS): In July, they are invited to meet researchers from Taiwan for scientific exchange.

The matchmaking event is organised by UDIF-HAW, a DFG initative aiming to support international research networking at UAS. It is to take place on Friday, 28 July 2023, 08:30 to 11:30 a.m. and involves short presentations of specific research projects, followed by 10-minute discussions. There will be three different breaktout rooms covering the following topics:

  • Net zero: negative carbon emission in technologies and sustainable development in industry
  • Electric vehicles: advanced vehicle technologies, innovative energy grid integration and energy storage optimisation
  • Green semiconductors: sustainable and energy-efficicent processes, technologies and new materials

Researchers from all disciplines related to these topics are invited to participate in the event. Short abstracts and posters can be submitted online by 7 June 2023. For further information on the event and for contact information please check the weblinks and the PDF file in the right-hand column.
