Online information event: “Received a grant notification? – What project leaders need to know now” : Date:

On 11 May 2023, we offered an online information event for project leaders and project staff in the “Research at Universities of Applied Sciences” programme. The event covered legal aspects, important deadlines, and tips on how to successfully carry out research projects.

Once the hurdle of submitting a project proposal has been cleared and the project has been approved for funding via grant notification, project leaders and staff are often faced with new questions: What deadlines and dates must be observed during the project? What are the reporting obligations? And what happens if something changes in the ongoing project?

To answer these and similar questions, we are now offering digital information events several times a year. The first event this year took place on Thursday, 11 May 2023. The presentation slides (in German) are now available for download. The event was moderated by Dr. Marie-Therese Kuhnert, who has been working as a senior consultant for the Project Management Agency for “Research at Universities of Applied Sciences” for six years.

The next event of this series will presumably take place in fall 2023 and will be announced in good time on this website and via e-mail. If you would like to receive an e-mail invitation (in German), please register for our mailing lists:

The information events are particularly intended for project leaders and project staff who have little experience with research projects funded by the federal government. Participants can expect a presentation with the most important information, deadlines, and tips on the legal aspects of funding for the project phase, followed by an open Q&A session.

Please note that the information events are specifically tailored to projects in the “Research at Universities of Applied Sciences” programme. We do not offer advice for projects outside this programme.
