Publicly available images of tissue sections can be used to train an algorithm. On the left, a stained histology section on which a pathologist has marked a suspicious area (green line). On the right, the result the image recognition algorithm comes to - it has identified a similar area (red) as suspicious.

The picture is divided into two parts: On the left, a tissue section with cells, on which an area is marked with a green line. On the right, the same tissue section in a pixelated version on which an algorithm has marked a similar area in red.
